How is the study going? Sorry I have not been there. My work load here is huge right now, but I'm hoping within the next week or so I'll be able to start coming again regularly.

As the "coordinator" of the study group for the Visible Ops Security book, I will be there today. At minimum we can review the intro of the book, as well as the table of contents, and determine how best it can be split out and assigned.

I may not make it either due to a heavy work assignment, but I'll do my best. :-)

Wanted to give everyone a heads up that I likely will not be at the study group today as I am in training.  Hopefully we will go ahead and begin assigning chapters for the coming weeks.  We have the normal room (217) reserved from 12-1.  Please be courteous of the people who may have the room reserved after us.  Thanks!

Regarding Lascon 2013: do you guys think there will be volunteer opportunities for the conference, or should a person get in on the early bird special?

We would each need to purchase the book ourselves, whether the printed or digital version.
